Hiya everyone! I am SO excited to post this it's unreal ha ha, I've been itching to be creative making phonecases for so long, so I managed to get lots of goodies to begin!
After all the holidays they finally started delivering all of the goodies, it was like christmas only better, all over again!
I did an iPhone 5 first off as my mam has that phone and I promised her the first one, we love all things sparkly, and these exceeded my expectations hugely! They are so sparkly, I made sure I spent a little extra money on the high quality crystals instead of the plastic ones. I am thrilled with the result. It took me around 4 hours and was so worth it!
My phonecases are now in business! I'm busy making some whipped cream 3D cases at the moment I have tons of cute things to use with them.
If you're interested, Email me at madeline_bayliss@live.co.uk for prices and enquiries, you can choose any colour, design, theme, you name it! I'd love to hear from you.
Hope your new year has started fabulously!

Hot Pink nails!
Hello!
So I gave in. I lasted 9 days. Gel nail varnish lasted longer than I did.
My red carpet manicure was supposed to last 2-3 weeks, but my curiosity got the better of me and I took it off and replaced it with a new colour, so guess I'll never know how good the staying power is because I get bored too quickly ha ha!
I decided for hot pink, perfect for cheering me up in the miserable winter. Everybody loves winter until after christmas, then we're all itching for spring, so I'm hoping this will tide me over until then!
It's still a red carpet manicure colour, so I used the lamp and did it that way, again making you have the super shiny polished effect.
For my toes I didn't want to use the gel manicure set (i'm not sure if you can even) as polish on toes lasts a lot longer anyway! I used Leighton Denny's 'plush pink'. I have this weird thing, in which I have to have my toes and fingers matching or I'll feel super odd, it matches really well which was a bonus!
It looks a lot more neon in the photo's I think, it's definitely hot pink! Perfect holiday colour, I'm not going to lie, I kind of feel like Barbie ha ha! I always tend to be wearing dark colours like navys or dark reds it's a nice change.
I have a little bit around my skin, I know! With the gel nails, because it cures, and solidifies you can't just peel it off the skin you have to file it down, I'll get to it soon. I really prefer the Gel nail varnishes at the minute, it's such a nice change having length to my nails, I suffer chubby finger syndrome anyway haha and longer nails elongate the fingers making them look a little more feminine.
Some of you might have realised that I didn't go for any of the Nails Inc, I know I'm too fickle, I will definitely soon try an ordinary nail polish with the Red Carpet base and top coat and use the lamp to see if it has the same effects as a full gel manicure, I've got my fingers crossed for that one!
What colour are your nails at the moment?

Nails Inc.
Hi honeyss!
To any of you who watch QVC you'll understand how good some of the brands the channel actually sells, it's definitely improved over the years and isn't just for flannel nighties and cleaning products (although I do end up watching some of these hours on the nights I can't sleep ha ha!).
These days they do brands like Bobbi Brown, Benefit, Smashbox, Bare minerals, OPI, Nails inc and lots lots more! They do really good little bundles and sets for reasonable prices, and it's became the place I buy the bulk of beauty products, and probably around 98% of my nail products.
This christmas, Santa knowing me so well left 2 Nails Inc boxes under my tree, both containing 7 full size beautiful nail varnishes! Yipee!
I thought I'd show you some of the more 3D and effect colours :)
I was about to paint my nails for real and like everytime I go to do my nails, I end up painting all my nails different colours to determine with shade to choose, I thought I'd photograph it so you can see how the different colours look and the difference between the effects. I applied two coats.
The names of the colours are (left to right)
Bakers Row
RedBurn Street
Disco Lane
Elystan Street
Bedford Square
Bakers row and Redburn stree (the first two) are part of the sprinkles collection, and are supposed to be like sprinkles on a cupcake which is pretty cute! They are very strong colours.. as in you don't need to apply a different colour first off which I have to do with so many glitters.
The sprinkles are quite large and you definitely get a scattered effect when on the nail, I had a lot of my sprinkles on the bottom half of my nail which annoys me, even with glitter I have to have the WHOLE thing covered with many coats, but it's a cute idea and I'm sure I'll get my wear out of them as they are gorgeous colours.
Disco Lane is a Black with holographic sparkles, it goes on very dark and it definitely has a little effect, it dried a little matte and rough which I'm guessing is because of the flecks of glitter, I'm hoping it'll have a nicer finish with a top coat.
Elystan Street is the perfect christmas colour! It's super sparkly with red AND gold, it has a really good mix of the two aswell. It's very vibrant already but I'd be tempted to put a plain red underneath to give more depth.
Finally Bedford Square, which is definitely very impressive! On it's own it's quite sheer, some may like this , but for me I would use a plain gold base first to give it the wow factor. It's also holographic so it looks amazing and sparkly on the nail. Perfect bling nail colour!
See which colour I chose in my next post... coming soon!

Pamper day & Palmers Products
Hey beauties! I am loving the alliteration in my title by the way haha, it's the little things, as they say.
Today is new years day, and I've had a rather uneventful yet needed one. You know those days when you do nothing, except moisturise, do your nails, hair treatments, I'm having one, and loving it!
I've showered, exfoliated, moisturised, face masked, shaped my brows and am yet to do my nails.
I thought I'd blog and tell you about one of the most important things in the beauty world, the wonder that is MOISTURISING. I feel like people don't understand how important it actually is, and I mean moisturising everything
-Body
-Nails
-Hair
-Face
It's so vital and makes you feel amazing even after keeping it up for just a few days. During the winter months and low temperatures our skin isn't creating enough sebum (oil, pretty much) to keep ourselves silky smooth and hydrated.
For my body I use Palmers I have been a firm favourite of the brand since I was young and cannot see me ever changing.
Don't get me wrong I've tried a good few, garnier, johnsons, nivea etc all of which work brilliantly, but the smell of palmers I really just love. It's cocoa butter which gives a really creamy scent I love it!
Everyday I apply the regular moisturiser and then every few days when I feel like I need a colour pick me up I use their Natural Bronze moisturiser, it's a tinted moisturiser which I prefer to use 10x more than I would a fake tan. If you keep up using your regular moisturiser after applying it won't go patchy or streaky like other tinted moisturisers tend to do.
It gives a great natural colour and I always feel better and healthier when I've got it on. It has the classic palmers scent to it too, so it won't have the horrible biscuity smell like fake tan holds.
I just checked the Boots website for prices, and their both on HALF PRICE offers, the Palmers Natural Bronze is £2.67 and the orginal is around £3
It is widely used by pregnant women to reduce stretch marks and there are many people who swear by it for fading scars, it soaks in to the skin straight away which is a plus as too many times with other products I've had to pat myself with a towel before even attempting to put on clothes ha ha.
They have a huge range now too, such as bust creams and body oils I have yet to try them but I'm keen to try the body oil in the summer months. Nothing better than shimmery oily tanned legs in those beautiful summer dresses!
I am in no way trying to pursuade you to use these products, in fact I'd love to know which moisturisers you swear by!
Now for my hair, nothing beats kitchen classic such as Olive Oil. Yep, that's right the same thing you all eat in your pasta is currently soaking into my hair. Having thick curly hair, it's important for me to condition my hair to stop it breaking and turning into a frizzy hot mess.
All I do is put a tiny bowl of olive oil in the microwave for 10 seconds and then apply it to mostly the ends of my hair and leave for as long as I can, the longer the better. It's important to note however, that when rinsing it out, you must apply shampoo before even putting your hair near the shower water, if you get shower on your oily hair, you'll have greasy hair as water and oil do not mix, folks! It's super intense and makes my hair feel so great!
I'm using Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner at the minute to which is a treat! *Blog post soon
For my face, it varies, I prefer a good face oil or balm to really make my skin feel hydrated, I've used Decleor, Liz Earle and even just plain almond oil in the past.
And nails, well a good cuticle oil isn't hard to come by, I use OPI avoplex which I have recieved so many of in the sets on QVC. It's very handy to carry around in your handbag.
Well I've been rambling , so sorry guys! I hope you all feel great and silky smooth after you moisturising sessions!

Pandora & nail update
For a couple of year now, the jewelry brand pandora have been a huge trend, with shops popping up all over the place and more and more people receiving their silver starter bracelet.
I recieved mine in 2010 and now I am embarrassingly proud that it is full with charms, all of which have been gifts from lovely friends and family. Something quite sweet about the pandora is that if you buy the charms for sentimental reasons or memories, you can tell a little tale about each charm.
My silver one has only space for around one more charm, so I had been wondering for a while about what I was going to get next, I wasn't sure whether to just buy another silver, try some rope bracelets or maybe the necklace.
And then, ta-da! for christmas my lovely mam got me a grey rope charm, I doubt I would have ever chose it myself but I really love wearing it with my silver bracelet. I think from now on I'm just going to collect a few rope ones to layer.
I also got two little charms to start off my new bracelet :) The little ghost, which was a little inside joke nudge from my mam, as we often sit up at night in the pitch black with all sound off because we swear we can hear some ghosty noises, ha ha.
Then the crown, which has been brought out with the Girls Aloud collection, it's a lot different to the normal charms, a lot more 3D. I like it, think it sets of the grey nicely, gives it a gothic look maybe?
I have since shuffled around my bracelets (a tedious task as everything has to be symmetrical for me aha) but I now have moved my little fairy charm to join the crown and the ghost and I think that's my grey bracelet complete, you can't fill up the rope bracelets like you can the silver as the leather would stretch and snap. The pandora lady suggested 3-7 beads, so I may add 2 more but until then I like it being in three's.
What's your pandora like? I love seeing people's themes with their beads, my silver is very random, bright colours and memories.
Also a little nail update! I told you guys about the red carpet manicure which I applied on christmas day, a whole week ago! I'm very impressed, it hasn't budged! I'm so tempted to take it off though to try a new colour but I'm determined to see how long it can battle on! My nails feel super strong, they're normally very brittle and even with a good few layers of regular polish and topcoats and nail envy, I can bend my nails if I press down on them, not these bad boys. It's really giving me confidence that I can maintain my long nails, which I have never had the pleasure of having, I almost always have very short nails with a free edge, it isn't since the last month I've managed to get them long.
Sorry about the awful photo.. blackberry camera's are awful and very very frustrating!
